Many additional projects for service to the community are implemented every year.  Support is given to such organizations as In His Hands Pregnancy Center, Harbor House-for abused women and children, Relay for Life, and collection of food and other items needed for community organizations.

WMU

 

WMU was first called the Women’s Missionary Society and founded at Pisgah in 1912. 

 

The programs under the current WMU are Women on Mission, Youth on Mission, Girls in Action, Children in Action, and Mission Friends.

 

Pisgah WMU supports missions through the Annie Armstrong Easter offering, the Lottie Moon Christmas offering, State Missions,  Heck-Jones offering for WMU, and cooperative programs.  Offerings are taken for the Baptist Children’s Home and Baptist Hospital.
